- Complete disassembly
- Cleaning of all components and parts
- Replacement of guideways and ball screws
- Renewal of cables, motors and pneumatic system
- Repainting of the machine and its components
- Assembly of the machine, adjustment of the geometry and test run of all axes
- Recommissioning with functional and geometry warranty
Upgrade and warranty
Over the years, Tornos has developed numerous machine-specific options and additional functions which make new machines operate even more productively and more precisely. In the course of regular preventive maintenance, these cannot always be retrofitted. However, within the scope of overhauling the machine, such retrofitting will definitely make sense. Example: For some time now, a cyclically operating central lubrication system has been integrated in the Deco 10 which may be controlled via the machine’s control unit.
Following the machine overhaul including repainting and machine labeling, the machine delivered to the customer thereafter is virtually as good as new. This is mainly of interest to customers who do not think it enough to just upgrade the machine to state-of-the-art levels - be it mechanically or electronically - but who also attach importance to aesthetics and design and wish to present their production to final customers that way. With a machine from the Tornos machine overhaul program, you will receive machines truly in mint condition at a significantly lower price compared to buying a new machine. You may enter Tornos machines in your balance sheet as assets of genuine value even after long years of operation. For this purpose, Tornos grants a warranty of one year on all parts replaced and works carried out.
