New sales channel at Ifanger

Efficient. Reliable. Committed. To live up to these values in the future, IFANGER AG is promoting the topic of digitization. A webshop was set up with numerous customer-friendly features to facilitate the search and purchase of the MicroTurn steels and Randag knurling rolls.

To ensure the best service and as well as a consistent processing on the various purchasing channels – shop, telephone calls, e-mails, etc. – IFANGER AG has opted for a B2B orientation. Based on a customer survey in various countries, it was decided to connect the shop directly to the ERP. The displayed price and delivery conditions are directly linked to the customer account.

In addition, the webshop allows access to archived order items. In this order history, all tools are visible, also the special ones that are not listed in the webshop catalog. This is a real customer benefit and allows an efficient procurement process.

The tool search can be done in the classic way via keywords or by product families, but also via customer-specific references. All relevant attributes, such as the main dimensions as well as information on compatibility with the tool holders and detailed technical documentation are provided. A request for more detailed information, for example for a tailor-made version, can be made easily and directly from the article description. Delivery availability is visualized by a simple colour system.

With this shop, IFANGER AG offers its customers a modern, multilingual and open access to its tools at all times.

Of course, the focus is still set on efficient and easy-to-use tool systems. However, this webshop represents a very important step in the service for our customers – today and in the future.
