Optimum protection for used machines
Retrofitting older CNC machines is often much cheaper than buying a new one. However, when selecting the components, quality is crucial: Lestoprex and HEMA offer a wide portfolio of high-quality bellows, safety windows and vision systems for the reconditioning of machines.
Among the machine parts that are subject to operational wear are bellows, because they travel countless times together with the axles they protect. The machine protection specialist HEMA therefore manufactures its bellows from particularly robust special fabrics. All basic components as well as material, shape, processing method and dimensions are matched to the respective application. For machining applications with hot and sharp-edged chips, the bellows of the SAMURAI series are particularly suitable. They are additionally equipped with stainless steel lamellas which are mounted directly on the folds.
Machine safety windows offer reliable protection
Not only the machine axes, but also the operating personnel must be protected from flying chips and tool or workpiece parts. HEMA's safety windows are ideal for this because they are made of laminated glass: Towards the machine room, they are made of single-pane or laminated safety glass, on the operator side of abrasion-resistant coated polycarbonate. The edges of the panes are sealed to be diffusion-tight and coolant-resistant. Lestoprex supplies the safety glass panels ready for installation with or without a frame, as required.
SPINVISTA - A clear view in retrofits
When machine tools are in operation, the view into the interior is severely restricted by flying chips and splashing coolant. With the new SPINVISTA spin windows, Lestoprex provides an additional clear view of the machining processes in machine tools and machining centres. The installation of the SPINVISTA rotating window does not damage the machine guard, as SPINVISTA is either screwed to the bonded mounting plate or bonded directly to the guard. The installation can be carried out in the OEM original equipment as well as in retrofitting without any problems.
