The shape of the chip-breaker is ideal for light finishing operation. The shape of the geometry is shifted to obtain a greater wall height. Adjusting the cutting height is important.
2. Excellent K10 & K20 grades:
Our micro-grain grades, suitable for the latest coating innovations, are highly wear-resistant in this geometry. Often used without coating as well in certain non-ferrous materials and small workpiece dimensions.
3. Bi-directional:
Effective in chip management both in grooving operations and in front turning.
4. Rigid clamping system:
The famous Applitec twin-screw system with shifted teeth for optimum rigidity in all conditions.
