Do you need to profile 5xD with ID turning?
The MTKO copying insert with Ø2.5 mm has existed for a long time in the Ifanger Swiss-MicroTurn range. The evolution of materials used in modern connector technology requires longer cutting tools with positive rake angle.
While the Swiss-Microturn boring tools MTEP, MTEC or MTEN have covered 5xD for a long time, copying operations with undercut still had to be ensured.
This is now possible with MTKO 42514-R-K10 or coated TIALN.
