Sliding doors in rail vehicles must cope with extreme loads every day.
These loads arise not only from intensive operation, but also from external influences such as damage. The components must not only provide protection during normal operation, but also prove their performance in extreme situations. Our customer found that their previous solutions provided the required quality, but were too costly.
The solution
Proven quality stands up to intensive testing.
Together with our supply partner ACE, we analysed the situation and found a more cost-effective alternative. To ensure that the ACE damping systems used meet our high standards, we carried out comprehensive testing. Working closely with our supply partner, we simulated extreme loads such as those that occur in cases of vandalism. The tests confirmed that the selected shock absorbers work reliably even under extreme conditions and guarantee the safety and durability of the door systems. By working with ACE, we developed a tailor-made solution for the customer that was optimally tailored to their specific requirements.
