Linear drive solution for the world's steepest aerial tramway
BIBUS AG and Thomson are supplying a tailor-made linear drive solution for the new, state-of-the-art freight logistics system for the Schilthornbahn – the record holder for the world's steepest aerial tramway. Working closely with Derap AG, a precise and robust technology has been developed to make the new material logistics system on the first section from Stechelberg to Mürren efficient, sustainable and without the need for helicopters.
