Since 2021, the manufacturer of machine tool peripherals LNS has been a partner of Nigel Bailly, a mobility-impaired driver of a magnificent Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2.

We met Carlos Muniz, Head of Marketing Europe and Tamara Bregnard, Marketing & Customer Community Coordinator BU EU at LNS to talk about it and discover how this collaboration fits with the company's visions. Interview!

Part 4 - Links to products and novelties

Thank you for these explanations about your partnership, it is indeed very inspiring. To talk about LNS products, could you tell us more about your novelty presented to your customers at the SIAMS 2024?

CM: We indeed unveiled for the first time the Express 126, our new long bar feeder for sliding headstock lathe and we continued to highlight our digital solutions.

To make a natural link with our discussion, do you think that "the Nigel mindset" has something to do with the development of this new product?

CM: Let's not look for explanations that are too far-fetched. The new Express 126 is an evolution of the proven recipes on the Express and Sprint ranges. We started from the needs of our customers and looked for the best solution. So in that sense yes, it is in a way "the Nigel mindset". We re-evaluated the design of central elements and completely changed the methods of their manufacture to achieve a significant increase in quality. In addition, we simplified the choices offered to customers by integrating a maximum of standard features, such as the double loading system with screw or ramp, the latter retracting according to the diameter entered on the command.

So it is a high-end product with an aggressive price?

CM: That's a good summary. The Express 126 is clearly positioned with an extremely favourable quality/performance/price ratio.

Diameter range: from 1 to 23 mm (26 with bar preparation)
Guidance: by interchangeable guiding channels
Capacity change: less than 8 minutes
Loading: lateral (ramp or screw, interchangeable)
Strengths: rigid, adaptable and high quality
World premiere: SIAMS 2024 in Moutier
