Hydropower generator for Häny AG
When a ‘standard generator’ needs to be converted into a special design, our specialists in the workshop are called upon. Our customer, Häny AG, requires a small hydropower generator for an area that is difficult to access.
Tailored to the customer
When a small hydropower plant is located in a remote location, maintenance work and repairs should be kept to a minimum. This requires fully automatic and precisely metered lubrication. Highly accurate temperature measurement using sensors means that malfunctions in the bearings are detected immediately and operation is prevented.
Two electromechanical single-point lubrication systems were installed in the generator in our workshop, as well as two platinum sensors as measuring resistors for highly accurate temperature measurements. Before this special design could be delivered to the customer, the generator was checked in our workshop and all values were measured.
