A strong sign for the environment: we cover 50% of our electricity needs with solar energy.
As a forward-looking company, we are aware of our environmental responsibility. Every step toward reducing CO₂ emissions counts. That is why we have decided to further optimize our existing infrastructure and consistently invest in renewable energies.
Facts about our new PV system
We have expanded our company's own photovoltaic system and taken its performance to a new level. Here are the key facts:
- Power: Expansion of the system to an impressive 207.7 kWp.
- Self-sufficiency: We now produce enough green energy to cover 50% of our total electricity needs ourselves.
- Decarbonization: By using solar energy, we are drastically reducing our external electricity consumption and thus minimizing our carbon footprint.
Why we are taking this path
Investing in such a powerful PV system is a logical and necessary step for us. By producing half of our electricity directly on our own roof, we are not only making ourselves less dependent on fluctuations in the energy market, but above all, we are making an active contribution to the energy transition.
We reduce greenhouse gas emissions where we have the greatest direct influence: in our own energy consumption.
Our view to the future
The expansion to 207.7 kWp is a great success of which we are proud. But the journey does not end here. Dipl. Ing. Werner Graf AG will continue to examine how we can make our processes and resource consumption even more sustainable in the future. Because green energy is the driving force behind tomorrow's innovations.
