Reliable chip breaking in plunging-turning applications
Given the impressive performance of our ‘3-finger’ chip-breaking geometry in the VCGT 1103…FR BI120 indexable insert for front turning, we have now launched exactly the same technology as a grooving and turning insert. In addition to its use in stainless steel, our customers report that the new insert also performs well in titanium and various lead-free steel grades.
