Beckhoff Automation welcomes 61 talented youngsters
Vocational training and work-integrated study
We are delighted to welcome 61 talented young people to the new apprenticeship and academic year. For the 32 apprentices and 29 work-integrated students, this marks the beginning of the first exciting stage of their professional careers in the world of automation technology. Particularly noteworthy this year is the admission of two international students from Canada and the USA, who are starting the newly introduced English-language work-integrated Bachelor’s degree course in Mechatronics and Automation at the Gütersloh campus of Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSBI). This underlines our commitment to international networking and developing specialists in the mechatronics and automation field.
To ensure that it can meet the continuous demand for qualified specialists in the long term, we believe that it is vital to encourage talent from within its own ranks. With a wide range of training and study programs, it specifically promotes young people with a passion for technology. Currently, we are investing in the future of 226 young professionals by taking on 116 apprentices and 110 students. Many of the new recruits from the region have previously completed an internship at the company during their school years.
