FEHLMANN presents the new generation of the PICOMAX 56 with a Heidenhain control from the TNC7 family at SIAMS 2026 in Moutier
With this new generation, the successful machine series has been specifically further developed and adapted to the requirements of modern manufacturing environments. In addition to the new control system, various technical enhancements ensure greater ease of use, increased efficiency, and improved productivity.
The proven FEHLMANN TOP and MILL functions, which have been used for many years in workshops, training facilities, and single-part and small-batch production, have been fully revised and implemented on the current Heidenhain TNC7 basic. Users benefit from intuitive operation and can flexibly switch between conventional operation with handwheels and CNC machining with up to four simultaneously controlled axes.
The new control family expands possibilities in NC programming, simulation, and visualization, supporting modern machining strategies, such as efficient 3D machining.
The machine concept has also been optimized. A new generation of axis drives, increased structural rigidity, and a revised machine design ensure additional precision and process reliability in daily use.
One notable feature is the ability to change tools from the front while the machine is in operation. This feature is already familiar to those who use Fehlmann machining centers. It reduces setup times and optimizes workflows in the workshop.
In addition to the new PICOMAX 56 mill, Fehlmann AG will showcase the PICOMAX 21-M at SIAMS 2026: a compact, robust coordinate drilling and milling machine with a feed table. It is ideal for training facilities, as well as for precise, traditional workshop tasks.

Fehlmann AG presents two high-performance solutions for the flexible production of single parts and small batches, as well as for modern training: the PICOMAX 56 mill and the PICOMAX 21-M.
