SIAMS: The exhibition for the entire microtechnology production chain...

SIAMS is an exhibition... the exhibition for the entire microtechnology production chain, which takes place every two years in Moutier at the Forum de l'Arc. But it's much more than that: it's the gateway to the microtechnology world of the Jura Arc ecosystem.

 

 

The Jura microtechnology arc (in the broadest sense**) is a precision-related ecosystem. In a radius of less than 100 kilometres around Moutier we find thousands of complementary companies that enable our region to make a difference at world level by offering a complete solution labelled ‘Arc jurassien des microtechniques’.

And they meet every two years in Moutier to showcase their products and services, but also to collaborate and develop the microtechnology “global offer”!

I like to cite the example of the New York visitor to SIAMS who went home in the bronx with a machine, peripherals, tools, oil, materials and software solutions, all developed and built in our region... but it's also good to be a prophet in your own country... Our industries have skills and capabilities that are sometimes hard to find elsewhere...
