News Regarding BITO Container Systems
The BITO RK series of storage bins ensures space-saving organization in small parts storage. The complete RK series is now standardly produced from high-quality post-consumer recyclate, which BITO-Lagertechnik has manufactured itself according to stringent testing criteria. The raw material "BITO circular compound BIC2" is obtained through technologically advanced sorting, separation, and cleaning processes that guarantee the quality and stability of the containers are in no way inferior to those made from virgin plastic. For the first time, it is also possible to produce the container colors in a precisely defined shade despite the use of recyclate.
Also made from 100% high-quality "BITO circular compound BIC2" material are the ECOMOTION models from BITO-Lagertechnik, which expand the successful low-noise container series BITO XL-Motion, developed for automated storage systems. The ECOMOTION containers are also characterized by the new "easy2divide" subdivision system with slim and quickly interchangeable dividers. This allows goods to be stored efficiently in the containers and transported in automated storage systems without loss of space.
For over 30 years, the BITO MB series of reusable containers has ensured high efficiency in the warehouse: when stacked inside each other, the space requirement for storing or transporting empty containers is reduced by 75%. Thanks to a new ergonomic facelift, with additional grip ledges also on both long sides, the handling of this popular reusable container classic is now even easier.
As a collapsible reusable container, the BITO EQ folding box is not only extremely space-saving during transport and storage as an empty container. It was specially designed for industrial and commercial applications, is particularly stable, resilient, and therefore also suitable for use in automated systems.
As a helpful solution against container shrinkage and for the efficient utilization of container inventories, BITO-Lagertechnik has developed the service offering IOB® – Internet of Bins & Containers. The range of services enables seamless monitoring and management of containers along the entire supply chain. Through the integration of IoT technology and intelligent sensors, data such as the location, temperature, and movement status of the containers can be recorded and analyzed in real time, among other things. This ensures cost-optimized, process-optimized, and thus sustainable container deployment.
