Proof of performance in the talent factory
Wandfluh in Frutigen in the Bernese
Oberland develops, produces and sells innovative hydraulic components worldwide. When turning, drilling, milling and
grinding are carried out in the company's own training workshop, a high-performance machining fluid is required - perfect conditions for Motorex Swisscool 8000.
Wandfluh currently trains 32 apprentices in 8 different trades at the
parent company. Polymechanic apprentices must submit an individual work project at the end of their four-year apprenticeship. In the training workshop, Thomas Schranz built a crimping machine for the crimping of anchor tubes (the core of a valve magnet) for his project. Based on detailed drawings, the polymechanic had to produce the base block and the adaptation as well as other components. For this, it has a variety of state-of-the-art infrastructures, such as CNC milling machines and lathes, as well as CAM software for generating CNC programs.
