Hybrid technology - Print directly onto existing components

The hybrid construction is functionally necessary or above all economically interesting.
Instead of printing on the necessary, process-related construction platform, a milled blank is clamped in the machine and the metal is welded/printed onto it accordingly. Either because a component is to be repaired, or because, for example, cooling channels that are close to the contour are to be used and it does not make economic sense to print everything completely in the base area. Additive manufacturing where the added value comes into play. At Ecoparts, we master this specialty of metal 3D printing and use it primarily in toolmaking.
