Behind the scenes at SIAMS #3

In this third episode, we discover that the external stand builders have begun assembling the stands for which they have been commissioned.

SIAMS is:

  • Dozens of people involved on site to set up and showcase everything (with three weeks to go)
  • Thousands of people involved all over the microtechnology world to ensure an exceptional event.
  • Top-class conferences (info here)
  • An all-out organising team ;o)

And, as seen in previous episodes, some interesting behind-the-scenes stuff.

External builders get ahead!

Collection of ladders ready for use before opening!

Syma stands can be assembled very quickly, with excellent results.

Thanks to Moutier town council for putting up the banners in town.

The bar turning platform stand is taking shape. Under the aegis of AFDT, CIP CTDT and FAJI, 17 companies will have a place on the stand.

External constructors will be offering tailor-made solutions to exhibitors wishing to have stands that are "less standard" than the basic stands offered by SIAMS.

For example, Stand Concept, the well-known supplier, is building 29 stands for this edition of SIAMS. This involves detailed and extremely precise planning.

Setting up an exhibition is full of surprises ;o).

Getting all the participants to work together is not so complicated; they all have the same goal: to make SIAMS the best it can be!

At dawn, the first of seven semi-trailers is unloaded just for Stand Concept.

The spaces take shape and become clearer...
