An evening to discover bar turning
Around thirty young people and their parents attended an evening to find out more about bar turning, organised jointly by the Association des Fabricants de Décolletages et de Taillages, #bepog, the programme to promote technical occupations, and the micro-bar turning company Tavadec, host of the event.
The aim of the operation was to interest young people of training age in technical professions, and more specifically bar turning. As the company's sales director Cédric Monnin pointed out, the industry is suffering from an increasingly worrying labour shortage.
