BIG KAISER introduces fine boring heads with Smart Damper technology to improve productivity and accuracy
BIG KAISER, a global leader in premium high-precision tooling systems and solutions for the metalworking industries, has unveiled the latest additions to its EWN Monoblock range utilizing the company’s renowned Smart Damper technology.
These new fine boring heads are designed to reduce chatter and increase productivity, delivering exceptional machining accuracy and surface finish quality.
The two new fine boring heads, CK1 and CK2, support diameters of 20-36mm and 25-47mm, respectively. The full EWN monoblock family of products, from CK1 to CK7, now supports fine boring from 20mm to over 200mm. The Smart Damper mechanism helps to absorb vibrations, essentially eliminating chatter and thereby achieves higher precision machining with superior surface finishes.
