Condition Monitoring by Bühler Technologies

In order to conserve resources and reduce operating costs, it is advisable to maximise the service life of oils in hydraulic systems and lubrication systems. This includes system-compatible filtration to stabilise the cleanliness class and continuous monitoring of various parameters using sensors such as the CM-Terminal series from Bühler Technologies. These sensors permanently record the temperature, conductivity and permittivity of the oil. The ageing of the oil and thus the remaining service life can be derived from these values. As a result, efficiency can be increased and the service life of the oils extended.

The following components are an essential part of your condition monitoring system:

Particles are undesirable variables in hydraulic and lubrication systems and can lead to considerable system damage. The BPM-100 Particle Monitor has been specially designed to monitor particles within the oil. By continuously monitoring the fluid for solid-like contamination, oil change intervals can be extended and maintenance costs significantly reduced.

Iron particles in particular are undesirable in hydraulic and lubrication systems and can lead to considerable system damage, especially in gearboxes. The BMD-100 metal detector was specially developed for
