Introduction of GreMaT CNC Fixed Headstock Lathes – DT500 and DT500 S
The DT500 and DT500 S models are designed for users seeking a compact, high-performance and highly configurable CNC fixed headstock lathe, perfectly suited to everyday production requirements.
The DT500 is engineered as a powerful turning machine featuring a direct-drive main spindle, live tooling, and a Y-axis. The machine concept is based on a slant-bed cast iron structure, providing excellent thermal stability and efficient chip evacuation. High-precision linear roller guides combined with oversized ball screws ensure smooth axis movements, high accuracy, and long service life.
The DT500 S extends this concept with an integrated counterspindle, enabling complete machining in a single setup. Equipped with a 12-station BMT55 turret, live tooling, and a Y-axis, it allows efficient combination of complex turning and milling operations. The result is shorter cycle times, reduced handling, and significantly increased productivity.
Both machines feature high-performance motor spindles fitted with premium FAG bearings, designed for high speeds, high load capacity, and stable continuous operation. The robust machine structure and high-quality electrical components are consistently focused on reliability and cost-effectiveness.
