I-MOUTIER : The link between tradition and innovation
By opening a co-working space and a business incubator, Tornos
aims to continue the tradition of more than 100 years of innovation in micro-technology in the Swiss Jura Mountains.
With the Tornos Precision Park in Moutier as the
point of origin of the sliding-head automatic lathe, it now has a center of excellence dedicated to precision. In particular, the Tornos Precision Park accommodates an incubator intended to help develop micro-technology projects. “This new platform enables Tornos to stimulate our tradition of innovation,” explains Anne Hirtzlin, Project Manager and General Secretary of the i-moutier incubator.
