Innovative in-house production of power units, cylinders and valve blocks

Hydraulic power units are an essential component of many machine tools. They are responsible for generating and distributing hydraulic energy to control various mechanical functions within the machine. In addition to generating pressure through power units, valve blocks are used to control the hydraulic flow and regulate various functions such as clamping workpieces, moving and positioning axes and changing tools within the machine tool. The valve blocks are made up of several individual valve sections, each of which is responsible for specific hydraulic functions. Various actuators are used to fulfil these functions. Single-acting cylinders, for example, generate forces in one direction only, while double-acting cylinders can utilise the pressure difference in both directions as required. Telescopic cylinders are ideal for applications with limited installation space, while block cylinders are ideal for applications with limited stroke requirements due to their compactness. The selection of the appropriate cylinder depends on space requirements, precision requirements and load capacities.
