Monocrystalline/ MCD Diamond Tools
The MCD (Monocrystalline Diamond) tool, to put it simply, in so-called “natural” diamond, makes it possible to obtain mirror-polished surface conditions in non-ferrous metals and transparency in plastic materials (Acrylic, PMMA), all, raw machining! (Without any subsequent rework or polishing).
In recent years, natural diamonds have been gradually replaced by synthetic diamonds, which in addition to impeccable ethics (no more potential problem of blood diamonds and the negative impact on the environment of mining operations), perfect purity, offer excellent repeatability from one tool to another, are available in quantity and in large dimensions (up to 25 mm!!)
Yellow in color for HPHT (High Pressure High Temperatures), and now perfectly white/transparent for monocrystalline diamonds manufactured by the CVD process.
“If perfection existed in this world, a diamond would have shaped it! »
