The boundaries between electric bikes and conventional vehicles are becoming increasingly blurred. Think, for example, of SPACs (Speed Pedelecs) and Cargo Bikes: thanks to technological advances, these models are increasingly seen as an alternative to cars.
It is necessary to rethink the design elements and structural requirements to which bicycles such as S-Pedelec and Cargo Bikes are subjected. Their frames are exposed to greater loads than traditional bicycles, which poses new design challenges.
