ST-CUT
The ST-Cut Line offers a unique solution for external machining. The system enables the indexable insert to be changed quickly within the machine from both sides of the tool. This is very advantageous in industries such as medical technology, dental technology, electrical engineering, etc.
The ST-Cut Line also has a high repeatability of the cutting edges on all axes, which leads to a longer tool life.
The insert is available in two different coatings: VPG and VS020. VPG is PVD coated and suitable for medium and high speeds. VS020 is uncoated, which results in a sharper cutting edge. This is recommended for very small parts when the cutting speed is relatively low. The ST Cut indexable inserts have a maximum parting diameter of 17 mm with a parting width of up to 3 mm.
