For customers in the watchmaking industry and micromechanics, Brütsch/Rüegger Tools has developed an exclusive range of tools with over 10,000 items and a comprehensive consultation and service offering.
For decades, customers in the watchmaking industry and microtechnology have relied on the wide range of tools, maintenance materials and operating equipment. Now Brütsch/Rüegger Tools is extending this offer to cover all manufacturing, assembly and service tasks required during the product lifecycle of a watch. These include standard and special tools for the assembly of watches and movements, as well as professional equipment products for the quality assurance field.
The following acquisitions represent milestones in the expansion of the comprehensive range of products for the watchmaking industry and micromechanics: On 1 January 2019, Brütsch/Rüegger Tools acquired the commercial operations of VOH SA. This includes the Sylvac, Leica Microsystems, Petitpierre, Elma, Atlas Copco, Binder, Metro, Qualimatest and Heidenhain brands. On 15 January, 2020, Brütsch/Rüegger Tools acquired the commercial operations and the four own brands (A*F, Etic, Gold Shark, Novostar) of AF Switzerland SA in La Chaux-de-Fonds, which has been successful in the Swiss and international watch markets for many years.
The new watchmaking industry product range establishes Brütsch/Rüegger Tools as a complete supplier for the global watchmaking industry. This benefits the entire supply chain: manufacturers, suppliers, repair and service centres — from regional service providers in Switzerland to the nationwide service centres of watch companies operating worldwide.
As part of the product range expansion and the development of the consultation and service offering, Brütsch/Rüegger Tools now also offers customised and branded tools, the development of special tools and customised complete solutions. Brütsch/Rüegger Tools supports its customers from the initial idea to the finished solution.
