Global success of modular plant concept EnviModul

EnviModul modular system solutions by EnviroChemie are also in demand in Asia, the Middle East and Latin America

The production of haircare products can generate highly contaminated and coloured effluents, which require complex, multi-step treatment. In addition, wastewater volumes frequently reach 10 – 20 m³ per hour in multi-shift operation. Treatment processes that combine physico-chemical and biological processes are suitable for achieving the required water qualities and remaining below limit values.

In order to design, build and operate multi-step plants of this size in a cost-effective and operationally safe way, EnviroChemie incorporates the processes for Envochem physico-chemical and Biomar biological water treatment in EnviModul modular housing units. The plants are fully pre-assembled and factory-tested in Germany. Even wastewater collection tanks are supplied in dismantled form. All that is required on-site is the construction of a concrete foundation for the housing modules and collection tanks.

Two projects are currently being implemented, one in Indonesia, the other in Mexico. More than ten comparable plants have already been delivered to the cosmetics industry. The EnviModul system concept is used for smaller quantities up to 200 m³ per day, as well as in the coatings and paint industry. One of these plants has just been delivered to Oman.

In addition to plants for small and medium-sized water quantities, a combination of housing modules also makes it possible to use the EnviModul concept for large wastewater quantities up to 10,000 m³ per day. More than five large biological MBBR modular plants have already been delivered to the dairy industry and commissioned.
