MOVIC® Coating

Are you experiencing problems with your guide bushing as far as it seizing up or having galling issues?
We are happy to report that we have a new process that has proven greatly effective in eliminating these issues, especially when machining stainless steel, where the majority of these problems occur.

MOVIC coating is a Molybdenum coating with low friction coefficient. This coating is applied through a vaporization process that covers the entire Bushing (Black aspect). Coats the bore of the bushing and also penetrates deep into the carbide lining of the bushing.

MOVIC treatment does not affect dimensional accuracy of the bore.
Results in far less friction and allows material to move freely, which eliminates seizing and galling issues, especially when machining stainless steel or Titanium.

Bushing is “Superground” to provide highest finish possible and maximize friction reduction. Possible on any kind of guide bushings, MOVIC can be “refreshed” after longtime use.
