New GA 30+-45+ oil-injected rotary screw compressor delivers industry-leading energy efficiency

The demands on air compressors are growing. Businesses investing in a compressed air system want it to be more energy-efficient, more reliable, smarter, quieter and smaller, at a low total cost of ownership. With its new GA 30+-45+ (30-45 kw/40-75 hp), Atlas Copco delivers all of the above and more.

Thanks to the newest version of Atlas Copco’s patented compression element and an IE4-efficiency motor, the GA 30+-45+ delivers supreme compressed air performance with 2.7% more free air delivery and on average 3.2% better energy efficiency. Because energy costs make up the largest share of a compressor’s overall cost, this new GA series significantly reduces cost of ownership.

The compressor’s drive system is built tough to reliably produce quality air, even in the most demanding conditions. For example, its oil-lubricated motor bearing requires no greasing or regreasing, which maximizes the compressor’s uptime. It also features a heavy-duty air intake filter, which gives the compressor a longer service life than other filters on the market.

In addition, the new GA can be serviced half an hour faster than the previous model thanks to the completely maintenance-free drivetrain. The innovative oil filter with quick connection allows for fast removal and installation of the filter.

The GA 30+-45+ comes with a powerful cooling system with oversized coolers. The fan meets the European ERP2020 energy requirements and is extremely quiet. This allows operators to run their GA on their work floor without noise disruption.

Designed with cramped production floors and utility rooms in mind, the GA 30+-45+ is remarkably compact. The standard version is 32% smaller than its predecessor.

The GA 30+-45+ comes as standard with the Elektronikon® Touch, Atlas Copco’s most advanced controller. The easy-to-use touch screen features cutting edge control and monitoring capabilities. These include delayed second stop, different week schedules, and integrated control for up to 6 compressors. In combination with SMARTLINK remote monitoring, users can maximize their air system performance and optimize maintenance intervals.
