Responsiveness helps overcome the crisis
Never before has a health crisis had such an impact on the economy. The greatest fears for
the future are today. However, the post-crisis period could turn out to be much less bleak than imagined. At least that is the opinion of Roland Gutknecht, CEO of Suvema.
This crisis is deep and totally unprecedented with, on the one hand, the voluntary halt of the economy and, on the other hand, the injection of billions to support it. Some of these exceptional means will certainly be sunk costs, but the majority should end up in the economic circuit. "There will probably be a drop in investment, but the aid to cover short-term needs restores some confidence," says Roland Gutknecht.
